I haven't updated my blog in a while, but I would like to think that my bracelet-making skills are improving. I can make them at a faster pace nowadays and if I focus enough, then I can complete one bracelet every 2 or 3 days. The more time I spend on it, the less mistakes I tend to make. I am happy that I am improving, but I am running low on embroidery floss. I will need to steal some more from Su Yee again. I think I will buy a necklace kit on Amazon just to try out a new style as well.

Wip
Hello! This was a busy week for me since I had to volunteer for the Lunar New Year Festival the entire weekend. However, I did finish what's left of my bracelets and completed a couple. Hopefully, I'll have the chance to try satin embroidery strings because the ones I am using now are far too thin. There's very little progress made over an extended period of time even though a lot of the material is used. I hope that if I order it now, they'll be here within a month because my last order took a long time to get to my house.

WIP
Hey guys!
I didn't make much progress in the past week because I was busy with volunteering for QARI and I had uplift. On Friday, I went to the military ball for ROTC and I had lots of fun. However, I did try to work on my bracelets over the weekend. Once again, I continued to braid the ones that I've already made so far. I didn't finish any but the the three that I made are past halfway already.

Getting Back to Work
I'm so glad that midterms are officially over! Over the weekend, I began to unwind by watching YouTube tutorials of making bracelets. To be honest, most of these videos are very similar, if not, the same. Usually, only the color choices are different, but I still find it enjoyable to watch anyways. Despite being similar, each video shows the YouTube's tips and tricks in making the bracelets, and that's the reason why I continue to watch such videos.
I didn't make any new bracelets, but I did continue to braid the ones that already reached the halfway point. They're still no where close to perfect or being done, but I guess it's good enough for now.

Midterms
I didn't even touch my project this week. Instead of watching videos or making new bracelets, I focused more on studying and getting ready for midterms. I was also overwhelmed with projects like National History Day too. I'm happy that it's finished even though it took a long time. I honestly can't wait until Friday when everything is over.

Gas Leak?
This was a short week and I'm definitely grateful for that. We had a half-day Tuesday and a gas leak on Thursday, so we were all dismissed with our first period class. Unfortunately, we had to go back to school on a Friday, but I feel blessed nonetheless.
I used my time wisely and actually made progress in making my bracelets! It was a little weird to get used to my new disk, but I eventually got the hang of it. It's definitely easier than making bracelets with my old one. The old one kept on ripping since it was made of paper. After a few uses, I would have to print a new one from the library since I don't have a printer at home.
Back To School
School started again. I'm sad that my vacation is over and the homework load is hitting hard. I'm glad there was no school on Friday. During this time, I was on Youtube again. I specifically looked for video tutorials to learn how to end my bracelets. I didn't dare end my other ones because I'm scared that I'll ruin them. My fingers lack dexterity, so this is a tough challenge.
New Years
Over vacation, I didn't get to work on my bracelets a lot because I had to follow my parents to go see my relatives. We often dined out with our extended family. I decided not to bring my project with me because we're not very close and it would be very awkward if I had to repeatedly explain what I'm doing to all of my curious cousins, aunts, and uncles.
I did work on some when I got home. I tried to finish my first bracelets, but they look weird with the lobster clips. Everything seemed better on Youtube, but at least I tried.
It's Here!!
I finally got the stuff in the mail. It's about time! They took a long time to get here, but it's just on time for Christmas. I guess it's reasonable since it was free shipping. I'm probably just an impatient person. Now that I have my disk, I can do more with the bracelets since my DIY ones keep breaking and bending.
This week I haven't done much either. I only finished the red and black one, but I didn't tie them together.
No Mail
I still haven't gotten my order and the shipping is not very specific. It seems like it's still in China right now. I'm still using my makeshift disk and made an incomplete bracelet this week. It's red and black like our school colors. I guess I have a tendency to not finish the bracelets, but I still don't know how I should end them without the lobster clasps.
